Clockwork Gibbons have a dynamic blend of sonic textures evolving from ambient psychedelic soundscapes into heavier ‘stadium-esque guitar riffs’ driven by a progressive rhythm section. The Merseyside-based alt/art-rock quintet is comprised of three guitars, bass guitar and drums played by multi-instrumentalists with a diverse collective taste, producing this melting pot of inspiration that comes together to create the band’s unique sound; “a mix of Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin”.

 

Newly formed in Spring 2023 by Molly Scott - the guitarist/front-woman of the group - members have already enjoyed incredible success playing alongside ‘Guns N’ Roses’, ‘Slipknot’, ‘Ghost’ and more. The lineup includes her father and actor/script-writer- Liam Scott - on bass guitar; the Dad and daughter duo acting as the core songwriters of the group, accomplished touring session guitarist Paul Holligan providing massive guitar tones, also on guitar; Tom McMullan intricately weaves in a bluesy flavour to the band, and last but certainly not least; the engine behind Clockwork Gibbons is driven by absolute powerhouse session-drummer and LIPA graduate Aimee Bailey.

 

The group are currently preparing to release their anticipated debut single in Summer 2024 and are looking to establish the band as a prominent force in the UK music scene with more releases to come. With some exciting gigs and support slots in the pipeline, they’re determined to set out on a support tour in 2025.
